Jarvis M. Berry, Community Mobilizer of the Coatesville Youth Initiative
Jarvis has been the Community Mobilizer of the Coatesville Youth Initiative at the Brandywine Health Foundation since 2009. He has more than fifteen years of experience in the management and provision of social/human service programs. As Community Mobilizer, Jarvis is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and assessing a community-wide effort linking schools, public and private agencies, churches, businesses, media, families and the community to promote the Communities That Care Social Development Strategy to reduce problem behaviors among youth.
Previously he was a Community Outreach Prevention Specialist at The COAD Group (Council on Addictive Diseases). He received his B.A. Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Morehouse College and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law.
