Chaya Scott is Director of the Coatesville Youth Initiative at the Brandywine Health Foundation. She has over nine years experience working in various communities throughout Chester County, Pennsylvania building relationships and forging partnerships with youth serving organizations committed to positive youth development.

In her current role, Chaya foster collaboration in the greater Coatesville community among residents, local nonprofit organizations, county agencies, youth serving organizations, and the Coatesville Area School District. She supports a network of resources and programs that enhance the knowledge and skills of the youth as a means to build strong character.

Prior to joining the foundation, Ms. Scott was the Executive Director for Succeeding Abundantly, and previously was the Executive Director for Phoenixville Area Positive Alternatives. 

The mother of two has received the Good Samaritan Service Award from the West Chester Community Center; County of Chester Citation for Commitment to enhancing and improving the quality of life for the citizens of Chester County, the Senate of Pennsylvania Award for an Exemplary Record of Leadership and Service, and Excellent and Committed Community Service Award from Lily of the Valley Lodge #59.  

She received her M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Immaculata University and her B.A. in Public Relations, Magna Cum Laude from Temple University.
