Frances M. Sheehan
Frances M. Sheehan currently serves as the President and CEO
of the Brandywine Health Foundation in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Prior to coming to the foundation, Ms. Sheehan served as the
CEO of Planned Parenthood of Chester County from 1990-2002,
where she provided staff leadership for a successful $3.15
million capital and endowment drive, and as one of the founding
members and President of the Board of Directors of the Coatesville
Center for Community Health, a collaborative effort to improve
health care delivery through the co-location of services in
a new headquarters building in the heart of Coatesville.
Frances serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Delaware
Valley Grantmakers and Regional Housing Legal Services. In
2002, she received the March of Dimes' Chester County Woman
of Achievement in the Field of Health Award. She has also
served on the Steering Committee of the Healthy Communities
Partnership
of Chester County, was a founder and Advisory Board member
of the Maternal and Child Health Consortium, served on the
Advisory Board of Community Volunteers in Medicine, and is
a founding member and former commissioner of the Chester
County Women's Commission.
Frances received her B.A. with Honors
in
History from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut,
and her M.B.A. from Temple University's Fox School of Business's
Executive Program. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive
through the Association of Fund Raising Professionals.
Born in England, Frances became a U.S. citizen at the age
of 13. Currently, she resides in Swarthmore with her husband,
Dr. Ricardo Gelman, a physician in the Emergency Department
at The Chester County Hospital, and their two children,
Julia and Russell. She enjoys reading, traveling, exercising,
hiking,
biking, and spending time with her family. |
Dana M. Heiman
Dana M. Heiman is the Vice President for Development & Communications
at the Brandywine Health Foundation since 2003. Prior to joining
the staff at the foundation, Dana served as the Director of
Development
at Planned Parenthood of Chester County for more than eight
years. Under her direction there, the fundraising program increased
significantly, doubling the number of donors and dollars raised.
She also implemented the launching of the organization's gift-planning
program in 2001.
Dana received her B.A. in English and Communications from
Villanova University. In addition, she is a Certified Fund
Raising Executive
through the Association of Fund Raising Professionals, and
has been a member of the Association for over thirteen years.
She serves on the board of directors of the Association of
Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Western Chester County
Chamber of Commerce. She has lived in Chester County for
nearly eighteen years, and now resides in Downingtown with
her husband,
two sons and Shi Tzu Marbles. |
