Since the foundation’s inception, its leadership
has focused on providing both primary care and preventive
dental care to the uninsured and underserved in the Coatesville
region. In its first year of operation, ChesPenn Health
Services, Inc. and Community Dental, provided services
to more than 2,000 local residents. Both organizations
have only just begun to serve our community. To secure
their future, we are building them a permanent home: the
Brandywine Health & Housing Center. We need your help
now to make that happen.
The new Brandywine Health & Housing Center will bring
together several vital health and social services as well
as provide low-income senior housing. In addition to ChesPenn
Health Services, Inc. and Community Dental, it will house
the Child Guidance Resource Center and Human Services,
Inc.
The good news is that over $12.8 million has been raised
to date to build the Center; bringing various levels of
government funding as well as private resources into Coatesville,
important dollars that otherwise would not have come into
the community. We still need to raise just over $230,000
to close the financing gap.
