Shortened Name and New Logo, too!

In late 2006, The Brandywine Health & Wellness Foundation shortened its name to the Brandywine Health Foundation. This change reflects our Board of Directors’ commitment to sharpening its focus on improving the health of our community.

During its five year existence, the Brandywine Health Foundation’s Board has intelligently recognized that focus is essential to success - the Brandywine Health Foundation cannot be successful in improving the health of central and western Chester County without focusing its resources where it can have the greatest impact.

At the same time, the Board of Directors has adopted a new logo. The new logo reflects our belief that the Brandywine Health Foundation must serve as a bridge, connecting and creating partnerships among individual donors, business supporters, the non-profit community, volunteers, and so many other dedicated people whose ideas, efforts and support are needed to create effective local solutions to our nation’s most intractable health problems.

The foundation’s unique role at the center of this health improvement process - bridging differences and getting results - is a community asset of which we can all be proud and grateful.
